A Big Citation of a Recent IHEC Blog Post

Hameed Khalid Darweesh was an Iraqi translator for U.S. forces who entered the U.S. on a valid visa and was detained at JFK for ~18 hours shortly after President Trump’s first immigration executive order was issued.

Go Overseas Petition Asking Congress to Oppose Trump’s Executive Order on Immigration

Go Overseas is collecting signatures through February 17, 2017 and on February 20 they will hand deliver them to a member of Congress in Washington, DC.  You can learn more via the Go Overseas website here.

Go Overseas is also donating $5,000 to the ACLU to help them fight against these new policies.
