I think this is a great opportunity for American families to gain exposure to individuals from other cultures without necessitating the expense of travelling abroad or of taking a span of time off work to visit other countries. Especially for families with children, the immersion possible by being an exchange host can be an invaluable learning experience!
It would be great if people weren't afraid to open up their homes to these exchange students. I agree that it is good for Americans to learn from other cultures. It can be a good experience for all that's involved.
It is welcome gesture from Hillary Clinton.It will strengthen the idea of the world as a one family
