For international students (no matter where the student is from and what country the student is studying in), holidays in a foreign land can be a difficult time. The other day I came across an interesting article entitled "Everything after that is gravy - citizen diplomacy and ambassadorial moments during Thanksgiving" in the November 20th Chicago Examiner (they frequently have articles on study abroad by the way).
