IIEPassport Study Abroad books

During the past NAFSA conference in Kansas City I was fortunate to acquire a set of the new 2010 IIEPassport Study Abroad books (minus the Study Abroad Funding book) and I finally found some time to look through them.  New for this 2010 collection is IIE's collaboration with Lonely Planet who is providing content on living, traveling and studying in the region.  There are four regional specific books and one on funding study abroad:

Study Abroad in Asia & Oceania
Study Abroad in Africa & the Middle East
Study Abroad in the Americas
Study Abroad in Europe
Study Abroad Funding

What I like about these books is that they are packed full with great study abroad program information that will keep all prospective study abroad students buried in the possibilities.  Additionally, these books are much smaller in size compared to their predecessor which is quite handy.  While the print is a little small it is not unlike the font I often read on my iPhone.  Additionally, the books also contain a piece entitled "Tips for U.S. Students Preparing to Study Abroad" written by Brian Whalen, President and CEO of the Forum on Education Abroad.

Students, Advisers and other interested parties can always turn to http://www.iiepassport.org/ as it is a great resource for searching for study abroad programs.  Learn more about the IIEPassport Study Abroad books here.

These four books are a great addition to my Bury Book International Education Library & Archive!
