POSITION
SUMMARY
Under
the direct supervision of the Assistant Provost for Global Education, the
Global Education Advisor is a student-facing role focusing on assisting
Columbia College Chicago CCC students involved in study abroad and study away
programs, as well as providing support for international exchange students
studying at Columbia College. The Global Education Advisor contributes to the
development and implementation of policies and processes that facilitate
student participation in our exchange, approved provider, and faculty-led
travel experiences. This position also works directly with students and
internal and external partners to advise students on the educational,
procedural, and financial implications of their choice to participate in study
abroad and study away experiences. A Flexible Work Arrangement may be available
for this position in mutual agreement with the Assistant Provost of Global
Education.
