LeRoi Moore Fund

The LeRoi Moore Fund offers scholarships and supports charities in honor of the late Dave Matthews Band saxophonist.  Visit http://www.leroimoore.com/page/leroi-moore-fund to learn more and support.

LeRoi Moore passed away two years ago today and I wrote a brief post to IHEC Blog that night when I heard the news.  I just wanted to provide an update here about the scholarships now available and the various charities to be supported.

LeRoi Moore 1961-2008

I just learned the sad and unexpected news that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of the Dave Matthews Band, died this afternoon in Los Angeles. The feelings I'm experiencing right now are similar to when I heard the news that Brent Midland, keyboard player for the Grateful Dead, had died back in 1989 and when Jerry Garcia, guitar player and founding member of the Grateful Dead, had died in 1995.
