Hi,your posts are very i...David, Canji and Valarie,
Hi,your posts are very interesting. For example, an agent for American universities in Beirut, Lebanon my home country provides students with information about how to get a student visa, the application requirement of each university, when to apply, and general information on the town or city where the university is located.Agents usually provide these services for a certain fee that depends on the services they provide.Valarie, to answer your question, not all agents are honest. Some tend to prolong the time for application and registration just to get more money from customers.Nana 675https://www.blogger.com/profile/17046570962734465053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056075368630933905.post-69301791118298106012011-12-20T12:45:15.452-06:002011-12-20T12:45:15.452-06:00@Valerie ~ An interesting development in the U.S. ...@Valerie ~ An interesting development in the U.S. that might be of interest to you:

"NACAC Announces Members of Commission on International Student Recruitment"

http://bit.ly/sjORLfDavid Comphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788164980038166924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056075368630933905.post-43163071935573608742011-12-19T19:28:13.319-06:002011-12-19T19:28:13.319-06:00I am unclear about why one would be suspicious or ...I am unclear about why one would be suspicious or perhaps doubtful about the value and/or motivation of an agent. I imagine them as individuals that fill an unmet need as suggested in the initial post. There has to be a market for their services-- on the order of a personal coach, mentor or guidance counselor. If however, there are specious aspects to their "profession", such as, over promising and under delivering on whatever services they offer—all bets are off. As I think more about it—the word "agent" might be the reason for suspicion—as in "secret agent"Valerie Dowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04462514207959753417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056075368630933905.post-75391603299665351342011-12-06T16:27:22.422-06:002011-12-06T16:27:22.422-06:00Via @ThePIENews on Twitter: US opinion of agents? ...Via @ThePIENews on Twitter: US opinion of agents?
